Southold Hamlet Stakeholders. Despite that the stakeholder groups
are supposed to be gathering public input, there is no contact information
on the website for the other 8 groups.]
B) *•* Planning Department webpage (which has
the heading Planning Board)
Contains links to incomplete copies of the 2005 Stakeholders reports.
The Townwide Analysis which serves as an introduction is illogically placed last and contains only a table of contents.
C) *•* Town Clerk webpage Hamlet HALO Maps are
near the bottom of the page.
D) *•* OFFICERS, BOARDS MEMBERS & COMMITTEES OF THE
TOWN OF SOUTHOLD is the heading on the webpage titled,
Town Board. Buried toward the bottom of the page
is a list of -
HAMLET STAKEHOLDERS (Appointed - March 13, 2007).
All of the information related to the Hamlet Study Groups should
be posted in one location or links to information in other locations
should be posted on the main location.
The Town Board (the group responsible for the website)
does not even have a webpage, neither does Data Processing (the
department
who design the website).
Southold Town website is useful, that is why it deserves to
be improved. Officials, employees and volunteers could get
more done and take less time doing it, if the website
was better organized. |
