Website Proposals Fear and loathing of the internet
That is the attitude of Southold Town Board. Even our local government authority on information technology — the Southold Town Data Processing Network and Systems Department — doesn’t understand and doesn’t want to understand the basic elements of an internet presence or the means by which an internet presence can be implemented to benefit the Town.

Southold Town Board refuses to participate in a serious consideration of this issue. Our Town Board continues to refuse to review the proposal which was repeatedly made to both the Horton and Russell administrations starting in 2001.
